General Booking Terms and Conditions

 

1. INTRODUCTION

The General Booking Terms and Conditions are explained in the document presented here and aims to regulate the Terms or Conditions of Purchase of the Prior Booking and Online Booking Services (hereinafter referred to as “Pre-Booking” and “Online Booking” or “Services”) of Villa Graça – Hostels & Apartments by users and users, it should be noted that the term “User” or “user” will be used when it is intended to refer to individuals and/or entities that, for any reason, access the website www.villagraca.pt.

2-USE OF THE ONLINE BOOKING SERVICES OF VILLA GRAÇA – HOSTELS & APARTMENTS

2.1-Online Reservation Services

a) The Online Reservation Services allow the user to make a reservation for a stay in Local Accommodation or Hostel in Villa Graça – Hostels & Apartments. By using the Online Booking Services, the user is accepting the validity of each of the General Terms and/or Conditions, which will be considered automatically incorporated into the contract signed with the IIFPG. This contract will not be transcribed in writing, unless the user makes such a request. This document explains the articles of the contract.

b) Hiring the Online Reservation Service: When making the Online Reservation, the user will receive, within 24 hours, an email confirming the Reservation that will include confirmation that the reservation request is in the confirmation process. . After validating the reservation, the user will receive an e-mail with the reservation confirmation, the e-mail being the document that serves as proof of the reservation. Reservation validation is carried out with the data relating to the credit card, namely: credit card number, expiration date and security code. This code can be found on the back of the card after signing.

In the case of using a Credit Card, the name of the card must correspond to the name of the guest, which will be requested at the time of check-in to verify that the data provided is correct. The credit card holder must be present.

c) Guarantee: The reservation will be confirmed and guaranteed during the use of the credit card. If the guest does not show up on the scheduled day without prior notice, the entire reservation will be charged (stay with taxes included).

d) Cancellation of the Reservation: The Cancellation of the Reservation can be made by the guest without any charge for cancellation, as long as it is made in advance, up to 5 days before the day of arrival. After this period, as equivalent compensation, the Villa Graça – Hostels & Apartments will charge a cancellation fee equal to the cost of the reservation (including taxes).

This clause is not valid for reservations made with promotional/special rates, and the respective specific conditions apply.

Schedules Villa Graça – Hostels & Apartments:

– Check-in: from 15:00 to 20:00

– Checkout: until 11:00 am

e) Policy for children and babies: Guests aged 3 years or older and up to 12 years of age are considered children and guests under 3 years of age are considered babies.

The pricing policy for children (ages 12 and under) is the same as the pricing policy for adults.

Regarding the pricing policy for babies (under 3 years old): no charge will be made for the stay.

f) Policy for underage guests: Minor guests must be accompanied by duly authorized guardians, and the Villa Graça – Hostels & Apartments require documentation that proves and identifies adults as authorized responsible persons.

g) Price per Local Accommodation Apartment, per Bed in the Hostel or per Room in the Hostel and night.

Prices and period of stay are valid if declared in writing, and the Villa Graça – Hostels & Apartments modify prices without prior notice, whenever there are justifiable reasons to do so.

Prices with taxes related to the reservation will be communicated in the reservation execution process.

h) At the time of booking, users have access to the booking price with VAT, according to the rate applicable at the time.

It should be noted that, in the event that the value of the reservation changes between the date of reservation and the date of provision of the services, with an oscillation of the amount initially charged, in accordance with the applicable regulations, the applicable price must correspond to that practiced in the time of providing the service, even if this results in an increase in the final price indicated during the booking process.

2.3-Use of the Services by the guest

The guest undertakes to use the services in accordance with:

– the law;
– moral standards;
– public order;
– the provisions of this document.

Thus, the guest cannot use the services for purposes and effects that are lawful and/or contrary to the provisions of this document and that may harm the services and image of Villa Graça – Hostels & Apartments.

2.4-Change of Conditions and Services Provided

Villa Graça – Hostels & Apartments may unilaterally modify the services provided or the conditions initially indicated, with a view to the benefit of the guests. As well as guests can make suggestions for change via email geral@villagraca.pt .
